01 / The approach
We don't tell you what to use. We teach you how to think.
Lash Extension Product Science is a series of product education courses, one product at a time. Each course takes you inside a product you use every day: its ingredients, its claims and the rules behind it, connected to what happens on a real client. The first product is primer.
It won't give you a list of approved brands. It teaches you to pick up any primer and ask three questions: what does it do to the lash surface, what does it do to the glue, and what does it do to the lash over time?
02 / At a glance
Format: 100% online, at your own pace
Lessons: Video lessons, diagrams and downloadable materials
Assessment: Quizzes, activities and a full primer review assignment
Kit: None needed. This is a science and theory course
On completion: Elusive Beauty Education Certificate
03 / Inside the course
What will I learn?
01 Before the primer. The natural lash fibre, lash washing, shampoo vs. cleanser, and what Health Canada allows in lash products.
02 Primer basics. What a primer is, where to apply it, and the main types of primer.
03 How lash glue sets. Moisture, pH and humidity, and how prep changes with traditional cyanoacrylate vs. UV/LED adhesive.
04 Reading a primer label. Spotting the key ingredients and sorting any product by what it does.
05 Lash health and eye safety. Which primers carry the most risk, safe application, and when to skip primer.
06 Choosing primer for the client and the room. Oily lashes, sensitive clients, lifted or fragile lashes, humid or dry rooms.
07 Marketing claims vs. evidence. "Hydrating," "strengthening," "bonding," and the questions to ask a brand.
08 For brand owners. Ingredient lists, pH, Safety Data Sheets and honest claims.
09 Knowledge check and primer review assignment.
How do I get certified?
1. Complete the online lessons. Work through every module, quiz and activity.
2. Complete your primer review. Choose any primer, your own brand or another, and break it down ingredient by ingredient and claim by claim.
3. Pass the knowledge check. Score at least 85%.
4. Receive your certificate. Issued once all requirements are complete.
